Washington State Residents

Orders placed by Washington State residents may be subject to state sales tax. Taxes will be applied at checkout and are not reflected in product prices. Orders outside Washington State are tax-free at this time.


Purchase Orders (POs)

We accept POs from the following organizations:

✔ WIC Programs, Head Starts, Universities
✔ Hospitals, Pediatric Clinics
✔ Military, Libraries, Government Agencies

Requesting a Quote or W-9

Submitting a Purchase Order

Payment Terms for POs

  • Orders under $3,000: Net 15 terms
  • Orders over $3,000: May require 50% upfront payment
  • Lofts: Not eligible for POs; full payment required at checkout

Shipping Policies

Shipping Methods

Most orders ship via UPS or FedEx Ground. Some vendors may use:

  • DHL
  • USPS (for small items)
  • Freight carriers (for oversized or heavy items)

We do not ship to:
❌ Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO addresses
❌ International locations (with some exceptions—see below)

Express Shipping

If you need expedited shipping, contact us before ordering for a quote.
Note: Some items cannot be shipped via express services due to vendor restrictions. Overnight or 2-Day Air may cost 4x or more than ground shipping.

Standard freight rates apply only if a loading dock is available. Additional charges apply for:

Delivery Time

Shipping times vary by item. Most ground shipments arrive within 3–7 business days.
Exact delivery times are listed on each product page.

Address & Billing Information

  • Ensure your billing address and phone number match your credit card statement. Incorrect billing details may delay processing.
  • If an incorrect shipping address is provided, we will attempt to redirect the package but cannot guarantee success.

International Shipping

Shipping to Alaska & Canada

We do not offer free shipping to Alaska or Canada.

We will provide a quote including shipping, brokerage fees, duties, and taxes.

Canada Orders

  • Prices are in USD; exchange rates will be applied.
  • Customers are responsible for broker fees, duties, and taxes.
  • Prepayment required via PayPal Invoice or Wire Transfer.

Alaska Orders

  • Prepayment required via PayPal Invoice or Wire Transfer.
  • Shipping costs provided upon request.

Once payment is received, we will process the order and email tracking details.


Return Policy

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase!

Returns & Refunds

  • Items must be returned in original condition & packaging within 30 days.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • A restocking fee (10–25%) may apply, depending on the manufacturer.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • If your item had "free shipping," the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

To request a return authorization, email [email protected]. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items

Custom & Personalized Items (e.g., monogrammed products, custom murals)
HABA Products (Made-to-order in Germany; non-cancelable & non-refundable)

Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Contact us immediately for assistance.
  • Keep all original packaging to process a claim.
  • Little People’s Cove reserves the right to replace damaged parts first.

Refusal of Delivery

If an order is refused for any reason other than damage, the customer is responsible for:

  • All shipping costs, including return shipping
  • Any additional fees incurred

If your order had free shipping, you will be billed for the actual shipping cost.


Terms of Sale

We strive to provide accurate product information, but product descriptions, images, availability, and prices may change.

✔ A binding sales contract is not established until your order has shipped and your credit card has been charged.
✔ If an error occurs in product pricing, we will contact you before processing the order.


Backorders

We do our best to keep inventory updated, but manufacturer delays may occur. If an item is backordered, we will notify you of any delays.

Note: We currently do not offer a print catalog.
