Sensory Light Tables Troubleshooting

Sensory Mood Light Trouble Shooting Guide.

Tickit Sensory Mood Lights are not designed to be used during their charge cycle. Constant use during the charge cycle seriously shortens battery life and could lead to costly repairs.
Do and Don’ts

1. Always charge the unit with the light “turned off”
2. If the light turns on when you start charging, use the remote or the button in the base to “turn off”
3. After charging always unplug the charger and use the Sensory Mood Light as a stand-alone item.
4. Try not to run the battery too low during use, if it starts to flash then “turn off” immediately and place on charge.

Trouble Shooting

1. Charging
If the light flashes uncontrollably before charging and you are unable to control either by using the remote or the button in the base, this is normally a symptom of very low battery voltage. In this case you will be unable to operate the unit until you have completed the following cycle, Unplug the charger from the light, wait several minutes for the light to flash until it turns off automatically, at this point place the unit on charge. If the light comes on then turn off using the remote or the button in the base. After fully charging you should regain full control of the light. Try not to run the battery too low during use, if it starts to flash then turn off immediately and place on charge.
If still not working after this, there are an assortment of other issues that typically relate to the LED unit, it is most unlikely to be a charger issue although it could possibly be the charging lead, to cover all bases send a replacement charger and LED unit that has been tested before dispatch.

2. Remote Controller
If unit is not responding to remote controller, check that the pull tab has been removed after unpacking, open the battery tray and check the coin cell is correctly fitted. (Looking at the remote from the underside + should be facing upwards when you open the tray)
If still not working after these checks, first send a new remote, if still not working then it could be the IR unit inside the LED so try sending a new LED unit.
